Avian and Exotic Animal Care

Dr Esther has taken special interest in providing a high standard of veterinary care for birds, rodents, rabbits and exotic patients. We therefore can offer a wide range of additional services:

Health Checks

General health checks including weight and body condition checks

Parasite Control

Internal and external parasites remain common, particularly in pets that do not receive routine veterinary care

DNA sexing of birds

This allows distinction of gender in birds by testing their DNA, providing an accuracy of 99.9%.

Microchipping

A microchip is a small, electronic chip that transmits the identification number of your pet when scanned.

X-rays

For the correct diagnosis of an injury, X-rays will speed up the process. X-rays will also provide a high level of accuracy
